JLo In “Ethiopia” For WTEWYE

Jennifer Lopez was spotted on the set of “What To Expect When You’re Expecting” yesterday. The set was staged to look like an Ethiopian airport. In the film, Jennifer’s character, Holly, and her husband, played by Rodrigo Santoro (also photographed), adopt a child from Ethiopia. Jennifer’s kids, Emme and Max were also photographed hanging out with Jennifer on the set.

In other movie news, “Parker”, Jennifer’s next film, now has a release date – October 12, 2012! The film just started shooting earlier this week, but Jennifer hasn’t started filming her role yet. Jennifer has 3 films scheduled for release in 2012: “What To Expect When You’re Expecting” on May 11, 2012, “Ice Age 4”  on July 3, 2012, and “Parker” on October 12, 2012! Will Jennifer’s 2012 be even bigger that 2011? We certainly hope so!

Jennifer Lopez Set To Star In “Parker”

According to Variety, Jennifer Lopez is set to star alongside Jason Statham in a new film called “Parker”.  The film is based on the book series by Donald Westlake and revolves around a thief who, though at times is forced to be a killer, still lives by a code of honor that includes never stealing money from people who need it. His word is his bond, and if he is crossed he will strike back relentlessly.

Jennifer will reportedly play Leslie, an ex-cheerleader turned real estate agent who teams up with a Statham’s character, Parker, to pull off a daring heist. Taylor Hackford is set to direct. The script was written by John J. McLaughlin, who most recently co-wrote the script for “Black Swan.” Clifton Collins Jr. and Wendell Pierce have also signed onto the film.

We’ve done some digging and it looks like the film is based on the book “Flashfire.” “Parker” will be filmed this Summer in New Orleans, and it is Jennifer’s 3rd film for 2012. Jennifer is also starring in the animated film “Ice Age: Continental Drift” and “What To Expect When You’re Expecting.”

Per Deadline, Jennifer is also working on a film called “Kiss and Tango”. We’ll keep you posted as more information becomes available!

Jennifer Lopez Joins “What To Expect When You’re Expecting”!

We have a new movie to look forward to! Jennifer Lopez has officially signed onto the film adaptation of the worldwide bestselling book “What To Expect When You’re Expecting”! Jennifer will be joining Cameron Diaz in the ensemble film, which is expected to begin shooting this Summer. Jennifer will play Holly, a woman who adopts a baby from abroad with her husband after difficulty conceiving.

The film is an ensemble romantic-comedy similar to “Love Actually” and “Valentine’s Day”.  It is a modern look at love through the eyes of four interconnected couples experiencing the thrills and surprises of having a baby, and ultimately coming to understand the universal truth that no matter what you plan for, life doesn’t always deliver what’s expected. “What To Expect When You’re Expecting” will be released on Mother’s Day Weekend 2012, meaning we have two Jennifer movies to look forward to in 2012! The animated film Ice Age: Continental Drift is set for release on July 13, 2012.

Jennifer Lopez Announces Delola Spritzes & Cocktails

Jennifer Lopez has announced the creation of THE HOUSE OF DELOLA LLC, a company she founded to launch unique, mixology-level ready-to-enjoy cocktails designed for elegant, effortless entertaining as part of a thoughtful lifestyle. For Jennifer, when it’s time to unwind with her friends, it’s time for Lola, a longtime nickname that reflects her more playful, carefree side. One of her favorite places to unwind is the Italian coast, where she discovered spritzes and was inspired to develop her own refreshing and flavorful spritzes without all the sugars traditional spritzes can contain. Delola is something she can enjoy when unwinding and entertaining friends while still being true to her thoughtful lifestyle. Jennifer had this to say in a press release:

“I love entertaining and to relax and unwind with friends, but never found a drink that was right for me. I was in search of something that I could enjoy that fit the thoughtful way that I live my life. When I didn’t find it, I decided to create Delola. My goals were better ingredients, better taste, fewer calories than traditional cocktails, and one simple pour. Something easy, fun, fresh and delicious. I knew that if I was looking, others were too. Delola gives people the freedom to enjoy – free from the cutting, squeezing, and mixing, free from the stress of entertaining, free to make ordinary moments extraordinary. Each one is bottled up in a beautiful glass bottle and ready to serve. Just pour over ice and enjoy. I started this journey two years ago and I’m so excited to finally share Delola with the world.”

“DELOLA SPRITZ” is available in three original cocktails:

BELLA BERRY SPRITZ made with berry, hibiscus and premium vodka; a full-bodied cocktail with notes of red berries, hibiscus and citrus.
PALOMA ROSA SPRITZ made with grapefruit, elderflower and premium tequila; an elevated Paloma with notes of ripe, luscious grapefruit, rich elderflower and a dash of salt.
L’ORANGE SPRITZ made with orange, passionfruit and premium amaro; an ode to the Italian spritzes with notes of bright, delicious fruit perfectly balanced with the bitterness of amaro.

Delola will be available in 750ml ($22.99) and 375ml ($11.99) premium embossed glass bottles and will be sold in fine grocery and spirits establishments, restaurants, and bars beginning in April with a continued roll out throughout spring. The company will launch in the United States and expand globally in the years to come.

Jennifer began developing Delola in 2020 in collaboration with drinks industry veterans, Ken Austin and Jenna Fagnan and her manager and business partner Benny Medina. Jennifer brought in globally renowned mixologist Lynnette Marrero to collaborate on these unique cocktails. Jennifer and the Delola team are also working to develop a scholarship program that will contribute money towards higher education for women who might not otherwise be able to receive that education.
