JLo’s LA Home Featured in Veranda Magazine

The January/February issue of Veranda Magazine features photos of Jennifer Lopez’s recently redesigned LA home! While they didn’t interview Jennifer, they did interview her interior designer, Michelle Workman. The home features a mixture of high end and lower priced pieces and “is tastefully glamorous- like Jennifer herself,” says Workman. The project lasted 10 weeks and the final result was unveiled to friends and family this past June, when Jennifer and Marc threw an Anniversary/Housewarming Party on their 6th wedding anniversary.

US Weekly previewed the article in this week’s issue, and the house looks gorgeous!

Jennifer to record ‘Llorando Se Fue’

Jennifer will record ” Llorando Se Fue” , a song by the Bolivian group Kjarkas, according to the manager of the group as reported in newspaper La Prensa de La Paz. Jennifer’s husband, Marc Anthony,  will be in charge of the adjustments.  The Portugese version of the song, “Lambada”, performed by Kaoma, was a big hit in 1989.

The song might be one of the first recordings for Jennifer’s upcoming 2nd Spanish album.

Throwback Thursday: Jennifer Lopez’s Jingle Ball Appearances

It’s holiday time, and over the years, JLo has appeared at various holiday “Jingle Ball” concerts.  These annual benefit concerts are hosted by radio stations across the US and traditionally feature the hottest radio stars of the year.

On December 16, 1999, Jennifer Lopez performed at Z-100’s Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY.  Other performers that year included Enrique Iglesias, Ricky Martin, LFO, Smash Mouth, and more.

Jennifer took the stage for about 15 minutes.  (The longest sets are usually about 30 minutes since there are so many performers). Though her performance was brief, it was extremely memorable. Her performance featured an extravagant stage set, background dancers, guest rappers, pyrotechnics and confetti. Would we expect any less?!?

As a side note, it’s pretty crazy to think that so many of us have been fans for this long!

Jennifer also made a couple of Jingle Ball appearances in 2003. Jennifer co-hosted Los Angeles’ KIIS Jingle Ball on December 5, 2003. A neat tidbit is that her co-host was her American Idol co-star, Ryan Seacrest. She also co-hosted Z-100’s show in New York on December 11, 2003.
