Jennifer Lopez took the stage at the 2017 Billboard Latin Music Awards last night to premiere her new Spanish-language song, “Mírate” by Kany Garcia and produced by Motiff!
I absolutely LOVED it and definitely can’t wait for her upcoming Spanish album!
While on the red carpet, Jennifer spoke with Telemundo about her upcoming Spanish album and her performance. Jennifer said it’s her best album yet, and she’s very proud of it. “Mirate” is a taste of the album, but there are a lot of different kinds of songs. She also mentioned “Ni Tu Ni Yo” feat Gente de Zona will appear on the album.
Jennifer picked up two awards at the ceremony: Social Media Artist of the Year and the Telemundo Star Award, which recognizes the achievements of a musical artist beyond their musical career. Jennifer also stopped for a moment after picking up her award to chat with Telemundo. Follow each link to watch the respective videos!
In this interview, Jennifer says she wanted to make an album where she sings her life, and that’s exactly what she did. She said it’s a “very uptempo album” with a few ballads and “Ni Tu Ni Yo” feat Gente de Zona will probably be one of the “first few singles”.
