Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr, Keith Urban, and Ryan Seacrest attended a premiere screening of American Idol at UCLA yesterday. The group answered fan questions from various screenings throughout the US, as well as Facebook and Twitter questions.

The season premiere of American Idol XIII kicks off tonight at 8/7c on FOX!
On Same Girl: “This was just something I was doing for the fans, it’s not a first single or anything like that. I was back in New York and I always had this idea—I’m wrapping up my album right now, we’re almost finished—and over Christmas I was like, ‘I’m going to relax. I’m not going to do anything. I’m just going to chill.’ But I always had this idea to go back with this one specific song called “Same Girl” and to go back to the Bronx, to my old neighborhood, walk around and kind of like film what happens … the song is about getting back to your roots and remembering where you’re from.”
On Album 10: “We’re just finishing it up right now and we will be dropping stuff soon.
On American Idol: “The contestants are amazing. I’m excited to see them again. We saw them during Hollywood Week, which you guys will see in a few weeks and it’s going to be an amazing season.”
