What To Expect When You’re Expecting In Theaters Today!!

Jennifer Lopez’s newest movie, What To Expect When You’re Expecting arrived in theaters today! Inspired by the perennial New York Times bestseller of the same name, What To Expect When You’re Expecting  is a hilarious and heartfelt big-screen comedy about five couples whose intertwined lives are turned upside down by the challenges of impending parenthood.

Jennifer has gotten some solid reviews, and here’s a few of them (thanks to BBer J)

“Jennifer Lopez and Rodrigo Santoro [feel real] as a couple whose fears grow as the date of their adoption approaches. Kudos to the movie for including expectant adoptive parents and for the Ethiopian ceremony where they meet their child, which is the film’s emotional highlight” — Chris Hewitt, Pioneer Press

“Jennifer Lopez and Rodrigo Santoro are touching as a couple out to adopt” — Owen Gleiberman, Entertainment Weekly

“Banks and Lopez fare best as women longing for motherhood while supporting the maternity-industrial complex” — Ann Lewison, The Kansas City Star

“Meanwhile, Lopez actually has the movie’s most touching scene when she goes to [Ethiopia] to meet the child whose life she’ll change” — Joe Neumaier, New York Daily News

“As they participate in an African adoption ritual, Lopez and Garcia are moving” — Philadelphia Inquirer

“Lopez has some well-acted moments as a woman so intent on having a child that she used 401(k) money to finance in vitro fertilization” — Mick LaSalle, San Francisco Chronicle

“Lopez and Santoro give their adopting couple a nice balance of sizzle and sadness, almost enough to produce a few tears” — Betsey Sharky, LA Times
