Jennifer Lopez to star in new NBC Drama Series “Shades Of Blue”

Exciting news! We are going to see Jennifer act in a series! NBC has made a straight-to-series 13 episode order for the new drama series, “Shades Of Blue”

In the new series, Jennifer will play Harlee McCord, a single mom and detective who works undercover for the FBI’s anti-corruption task force. Harlee becomes compromised by her colleagues–all of whom also pitch in to help her raise her daughter–and finds herself faced with the moral dilemma of working against her cop brothers in order to redeem herself.

The series is written by Adi Hasak and produced by Universal Television, Jennifer’s production company Nuyorican Productions, Ryan Seacrest Productions, EGTV and H’s Films.

I for one can’t wait to see this. I’m sure it’s going to be great! We will have to wait a bit for now, cause production won’t begin til 2015. The series is set to debut in the 2015-2016 tv season.

JLo at Market America After Party

Jennifer Lopez caught up with Fat Joe on Saturday night at the celebration of the launch of his Market America UnFranchise Business. The celebration took place at JR and Loren Ridinger’s house in Miami. Loren and JR are Jennifer’s close friends and god parents to her children.

Kohl’s Announces #GetJenniferThere Black Friday Campaign

New details have emerged about Jennifer’s campaign tease earlier this week! Kohl’s announced an unprecedented partnership bringing together Jennifer Lopez, the ABC Network and American Music Awards to launch the “Choose Your Own Black Friday” holiday campaign.

A series of seven “Get Jennifer There” commercials have been produced, but only four will air during the AMA broadcast. Each spot offers a choice of two different ways for Jennifer to get to the AMAs, and America will vote in real-time to decide which path she takes at www.GetJenniferThere.com, or via a hashtag on Twitter. The votes and social conversation will be measured, and America’s choice will air live, in-show. After the last spot airs, Jennifer will perform live on the show!!

The spots will also feature a sneak peek of the new JLove fine jewelry collection, which will be available this holiday season exclusively on Kohls.com.
