Jennifer Lopez joined Lin Manual Miranda’s new song benefiting hurricane relief in Puerto Rico. The song, called “Almost Like Praying”, cleverly borrows from “West Side Story”. “Almost Like Praying” will also be featured in a special benefiting hurricane relief efforts in Puerto Rico, set to air commercial-free this Saturday, October 7th on Telemundo. The television special will see appearances from all of the participating artists appearing on the track, as well as an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the single’s creation.
As previously mentioned, Jennifer is also spearheading The Somos Una Voz Alliance, which has raised over $500,000 on GoFundMe. Donate now to show your support! The “Somos Live!” benefit concert, which will take place in Miami on October 14, was announced earlier today. Jennifer will host and perform from Los Angeles.
